Day 1: Depart USA
Depart the USA on your scheduled flight arriving at the airport in Lima (LIM) late that evening.
Upon arrival at the airport a host will meet you, transfer you to the hotel and assist you with hotel check in.

Day 2: Lima
Breakfast at the hotel.
Free day to explore Lima at your leisure.
You can choose sightseeing tours and excursions as you go through the booking process.

Day 3: Lima - Huaraz
Breakfast at the hotel.
A driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel for your transfer to the bus station for your trip to Huaraz.
Travel non-stop from Lima to Huaraz by Cruz del Sur bus. This first-class service includes meals and refreshments in a modern, air-conditioned bus. Your attendent will see to your needs to ensure your comfort while traveling. The two-level bus includes reclining bed seats with safety belts, onboard video with premiere films, background music, individual reading lamps and two restrooms.
Upon arrival to the bus station in Huaraz that evening, a representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 4: Huaraz

Free day to explore Huaraz and the Huascaran National Park.
You may consider adding a tour to Chavin de Huantar, a great religious center built more than 3000 years ago and one of the greatest examples of architectural ingenuity in the world. The advanced Chavin architecture with its impressive homogeneity, technical development, functional value and equilibrium of shapes, mathematical complexities, astronomical and geometric principles and the remarkable magnitude of construction still mystifies and captivates architects, archaeologists, and visitors alike. Lunch is included with this tour.

Day 5: Huaraz

Free day to explore Huaraz and the Huascaran National Park.
You may consider adding a tour to Llanganuco Lake. This tour takes you through a marvelous winding road through dense eucalyptus forests and breathtaking vistas. Stops are made along the way to explore some of the neighboring towns. Lunch is included with this tour. When you arrive at the national park, the views of the Chinancocho and Orconcocha Lakes with their intense green and sky-blue colors will provide a mental picture and inner peace that will not be easily forgotten. Free time to explore this amazing area is included before returning to Huaraz.

Day 6: Huaraz

A driver will meet you in the lobby of your hotel for your transfer to the bus station for your return to Lima.
Upon arrival to Lima, a representative will meet you and transfer you to the airport for your flight back to the USA.

South America Departure Tax:
Upon departure in local currency or USD (cash only) the amount of $20 - 45 in some countries is required (amounts may vary daily based on currency fluctuations). Aircraft boarding will be denied to any passenger who fails to pay this tax which is collected after check-in and prior to boarding by Federal Airport staff. Full payment due within 1 day of booking by 2pm.
Passport information required for Peru:
Your full passport information is required to issue flight and train tickets. In addition, some services and lodges require notification of your food restrictions and allergies for confirmation. Passport Requirements:
It is the sole responsibility of each passenger to obtain the necessary documents for travel, not excluding passports and visas. A valid passport is normally the only requirement for U.S. citizens. Visa requirements do change without notice and vary by nationality. Please check with the consulate office of the destination country as to visa requirements.
Restrictions:
Prices are per person based on double occupancy. Purchases within 21 days will incur additional fees. Air carrier used in the package is based on gateway and availability at time of booking and multiple flights connections may be necessary. Flight departure times may be at any time on your requested departure day. Surcharges up to $50 per person each way may apply for travel Thursday through Monday depending on travel dates. Air taxes/Government-imposed fees/surcharges are excluded. These fees are in addition to the package prices and will be added to invoice. Travel is valid for these dates only. Certain other restrictions may apply, and offer is subject to change without notice. No request will be processed until full payment is received. Once submitted your request can take at least 24 hours to confirm. 2nd and 3rd choices for travel dates are highly recommended.
